The joy of being back on the road. I'm pretty conditioned now. So much so that if I leave and have a sinking feeling in my stomach that I've forgotten something - 100% of the time I've forgotten something. Today it was my iPhone charger. Looks like Tweetie will have to take a back seat for a day.
Anyway, you know a day is long when it's not even lunch time and it feels like it's 5:00 already. In a way, I'm glad to be working. In another way, I'm back to zero in terms of taking care of my physical fitness and trying to work on my personal goals.

Here are my 3 things for today:
- Two key questions to ask a client before you spend man hours and money on a proposal: How much are you willing to spend? Why are you doing this? I think that we sometimes see the potential of the opportunity and work to that without a realistic understanding how real the opportunity is.
- New Jersey roads are not fun to navigate. I went to dinner in one of the most maze-like ways and got back to the hotel in one of the most direct ways. Usually I'm logistics savvy. But not in New Jersey.
- The Parsippany Sheraton could use an upgrade. Updating the TV and the beds aren't good enough when the carpet is from 1970. The smell can only be described as a locker room combined with dirty laundry.
The good news is that I'm only in NJ for one night. The bad news is that my blogging will be more intermittent. This proposal is going to be a long one...
