Business strategy in my mind lives mostly in the theoretical and not so much in the practical. Once it comes into the practical, it's called "operations." What I've learned over my career is that no matter how much data you analyze, how many models you produce, and how quality your recommendations are to improve overall business profitability - a strategy is a a bet.
