Redefining The Competition

Have you taken the time to think about your competition?  I mean really think about who your competition is and where it's coming from.  More than likely, you are keeping your eyes on the usual suspects-- the leaders in your industry.  In some cases, maybe because you live in another reality, you are keeping your eyes on the wrong suspects.  There's an article in Fast Company  about Oreo's ability to tap into pop culture. Remember the blackout during the Super Bowl? Oreo had a tweet that went viral.  In the article, it says,  "If a person waiting in line at a convenience store is going to spend an extra dollar in the spur of the moment, she's now more likely to buy a power-up in the mobile game she's staring at than pick up a sleeve of cookies from the rack near the register."  Think about that.
